Terms and Conditions

Contract between you and Boltons Tech Ltd

These terms apply when you create an account, access, or use Tremis. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Who the contract is with

These terms form a legal agreement between you and Boltons Tech Ltd, a company based in the United Kingdom, which operates Tremis.

Boltons Tech Ltd is registered in England and Wales with company number 16985638. Its registered office address is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you use Tremis on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Service scope and limits

  • Tremis provides read-only tracking and analytics for your assets, liabilities, and cashflows.
  • We do not provide regulated financial advice, investment recommendations, or execution services.
  • We work to keep data accurate but do not guarantee completeness or uninterrupted availability.
  • Portfolio valuations, market prices, exchange rates, and other figures may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. You should not rely solely on Tremis when making financial decisions.

AI Insights

  • AI Insights is an optional chat feature. It may use a summary of your portfolio data and the messages you type to generate responses.
  • AI output can be incorrect, incomplete, or out of date. It is provided for general information and does not constitute financial advice.
  • You are responsible for how you use AI output and for verifying information independently.

Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse Tremis, attempt to access data that is not yours, or interfere with the service.
  • Do not use Tremis for unlawful activities or to violate applicable regulations.
  • Do not reverse engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the service beyond permitted use.
  • Do not attempt to bypass usage limits, paywalls, or security controls.

Intellectual property

  • All rights in the Tremis platform (including design, code, branding, logos, and content) are owned by Boltons Tech Ltd or its licensors.
  • You retain ownership of the data you input into Tremis. You grant Boltons Tech Ltd a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that data solely to provide and improve the service.

Data and privacy

You retain ownership of your data. By using Tremis, you grant Boltons Tech Ltd permission to process your data to provide the service. Our data practices are described in the Privacy Policy.

Fees and billing

  • Some features require a paid subscription (Tremis Pro). Pricing is shown before purchase.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; Stripe does.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time via the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Unless required by applicable consumer protection law, we do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.
  • Taxes may apply depending on your location.
  • If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us at hello@tremis.ai within 30 days and we will investigate.

Suspension and termination

  • You can stop using Tremis at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or if required by law. We will try to give reasonable notice where possible.
  • On termination, your right to use Tremis ceases immediately. We recommend exporting your data before closing your account.

Third-party services

Tremis uses third-party providers to operate the service (for example: hosting, analytics, email delivery, payments, AI providers, and market data APIs). These providers operate independently and are subject to their own terms and policies. Boltons Tech Ltd is not responsible for outages, errors, or changes originating from third-party services.

Warranty disclaimer

Tremis is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. This disclaimer does not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.

Liability

  • To the extent permitted by law, Boltons Tech Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data.
  • Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or relating to these terms or your use of Tremis shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to Boltons Tech Ltd in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred pounds sterling (GBP 100).
  • Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.

Consumer rights

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other consumer protection legislation. Nothing in these terms affects or limits those statutory rights.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Boltons Tech Ltd, its officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights, except to the extent a claim arises from our negligence or wilful misconduct.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a UK consumer purchasing a paid digital subscription, you may have a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Where required, we will present the necessary information and choices at checkout, including any request to begin providing the service immediately.

Force majeure

Boltons Tech Ltd shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including third-party service outages or upstream data provider failures.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms and revise the last updated date. Continued use of Tremis after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Entire agreement

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Boltons Tech Ltd regarding your use of Tremis.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our prior written consent. Boltons Tech Ltd may assign these terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of all or substantially all of its assets.
